The owner of this site collects no personal information, the advertising platform technically does gather information. It does not get your email address, or any information that is linked to your identity, but it does track how you use the web and what you appear to be interested in. Then, with what it thinks you are interested in, the technology has the ability to serve ads to you based on your preferences, or interests. Please understand that this is not an unusual setup -- the "technology" is Google Adsense, and it is used on millions of websites from the New York Times to Aol.com and more. Adsense works by setting cookies on your computer or laptop so it can tell what you are interested in. Then it shows relevant ads based on that information.
