Wine Glass Rack
If you love wine, you are also likely to love looking at it, and looking at the sparkling wine glasses you own. So instead of keeping them out of sight in a cabinet, put them on display with a wine glass cabinet. You can get a nice one for $40 or less.
This raises another issue: when you get your wine rack, are all your wine glasses going to be the same, or do you have some large brandy snifters, some round wine glasses, and, say, four slender champange glasses. Ideally, it would be nice to have all your glasses fit in whatever rack you get. This makes a pretty good arguement for heading over to Bed, Bath and Beyond or another local retailer to buy your wine glass rack, instead of getting something online that you aren't 100% sure will work for you.
Hanging Wine Glass Rack
There are also the hanging grids -- they look like the same metal or wood grids people hang from the ceiling to hold their pots in. Again, if you live in a really small space, and have a very small kitchen, you probably don't have the cabinet space to fit many pots, so choosing one of those hanging pot contrapions definitely makes sense. And in the same vein, if you don't have the under-cabinet space to do the simple Amazon/Walmart 12 glass hangers, getting one of these hanging grids things for your glasses would work.
Still... how many wine glasses does a person need to keep on hand? Do you really need to have 12 wine glasses at the ready? Or maybe that's exactly what you want, because you have a table setting for twelve that you are really proud of, and you want to be able to see each part of it, because the glasses are beautiful and you simply love looking at them.
Under Cabinet Wine Glass Rack
Walmart and Amazon both have nice stainless steel wine glass racks that fit under a cabinet or shelf. The Walmart rack is $11. Amazon's is $8. These racks hold the base of the wine glass and let the cup part hang upside down. Each rack holds about 12 wine glasses. If you don't have that many wine glasses, you could also use these racks as a dish towel holder.
If you can deal with having just four, or even six wine glasses around, go for the 10" Chrome Wine Glass Stemware Rack Under Cabinet by Update International. Amazon has them for $2.95 each. At ten inches long, you could probably fit two big brandy glasses in one, and six wine glasses across two.
Wall Mounted Wine Glass Rack
Target has a nice looking wall shelf that holds glasses suspended beneath it. Its $50, but if you are tight on floorspace (and thus on furniture surface space, and almost every other kind of imaginable space), you probably already know that you need to use your walls wherever possible.
